5 Reasons to Eat In Season: Mother Nature Will Be Happy!

Updated: Jan 9

Fruits and Vegetables

The environment is changing but some things about Mother Nature and her requirements never change. Mother Nature requires all of the elements of the Earth to be in sync so she can work her magic. We must respect her, eat in season and live in alignment with Mother Nature and the environment.

When you align your body, mind and soul with Mother Nature's system you can't go wrong.

These are the 5 Reasons why you should eat seasonally to provide your body with optimal nutrition:

  1. Your body requires certain fruits and vegetables each season that are beneficial to your body's equilibrium.

  2. The foods grown by the farmers are grown during each season to provide nutrients for the local population during that specific season.

  3. You can reduce your carbon footprint by eating what is locally grown during that particular season without travelling far for produce.

  4. Eating seasonally helps keep you connected to the community of farmers and you have the opportunity to build a relationship with the person harvesting your food.

  5. Fruits and vegetables harvested at the peak of their growing season taste better and have the nutrients needed for our bodies during that specific time of the year.
